 The Story Behind the Name

Morning Star” is the meaning of Morgan’s name and was her mother’s term of endearment for her. To us, this name symbolizes guidance, brightness, and wishes, all of which are foundational to the mission of our company.

LUXURY TRAVEL ADVISOR

Morgan’s first encounter with her passion happened 20 years ago. As a young teenager, she was given the opportunity to go to Disney World for the first time with her grandparents.

She walked through the World Showcase at Epcot Center alongside two of her favorite people with wide eyes and a grateful heart. It was her first “big trip”, and she was the happiest she had ever been in her life. Being in a new place and making new memories—memories that would become stories that she would be able to tell for years to come—was a tipping point. It was there that she determined what she wanted to do with her life: she would travel the world making memories like these, and help others do the same. All because of her grandparents.

That tipping point spurred not just a lifelong love of travel, it also caused her to be fully invested since 2008 in making travel her full time career. After completing a degree in communications with a minor in counseling, she jumped right in to the travel world and started making those memories happen for other people. Travel isn’t just a hobby or “part time” for Morgan—it is her life.

Morgan is passionate, persistent, energetic, and a fighter. Time is a luxury, and she doesn’t want it to go to waste—both for herself, and for her clients. She will take the time to talk to you, understand what your goals and wishes are, and make them happen.

Morgan’s travels have taken her across the globe to South Africa for two safaris, Croatia, the Great Pyramids of Egypt, Ireland, Portugal, Poland, Austria, Italy, the Caribbean, Mexico, and the beaches of Hawaii. Since that first trip to Disney, she has been back yearly and is well versed on the parks, accommodations, and opportunities available for guests. She has been on river cruises with Viking, Uniworld, and AMA Waterways, as well as ocean cruises with Oceania, Disney, Princess, and Royal Caribbean. She is a Sandals & AMR resort specialist, visiting these resorts every year to keep up with her knowledge on all they have to offer.

Elise Harris

MANAGER

LUXURY TRAVEL ADVISOR

Born and raised in South Carolina, Elise’s love for travel began early. Growing up in Cheraw, family trips shaped her childhood — including frequent visits to Newfoundland, Canada to see her grandparents. Her first “big trip” came at age twelve when her family won America’s Funniest Home Videos and was flown to Los Angeles to appear on television. During that trip, her parents surprised the family with a visit to Disneyland — a moment that left a lasting impression and quietly planted the seed for a future in travel.

What began as childhood wonder has evolved into a refined appreciation for domestic & intentional elevated experiences. Since entering the industry in 2021, Elise has immersed herself in luxury travel — personally experiencing and evaluating high-end resorts, boutique hotels, cruise lines, and immersive destinations across the world.

Elise specializes in thoughtfully curated escapes that balance beauty, service, and seamless logistics. She is especially drawn to luxury hotels and resorts that embody a true sense of place — properties that reflect their surroundings, celebrate local culture, and immerse guests in the destination itself. She also enjoys curating both ocean and river cruise journeys, pairing the ease of cruising with immersive, culturally rich itineraries. Elise has a particular passion for celebratory travel — including honeymoons, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, and once-in-a-lifetime family trips — where every detail is thoughtfully designed to create meaningful, lasting memories.

When she’s not traveling or designing itineraries for her clients, you can find her researching emerging luxury properties, previewing cruise experiences, or mapping out her next international adventure. Her personal bucket list includes Ireland, Greece, New Zealand, and Iceland.

For Elise, travel is more than a getaway — it’s a collection of meaningful moments that stay with you long after you return home. Helping her clients create those moments is both her passion and her privilege.

Kelsey Metcalf

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

LUXURY TRAVEL ADVISOR

Kelsey was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, where family beach vacations and frequent mountain getaways sparked her early appreciation for travel. She later moved to the Upstate to attend Southern Wesleyan University and has called the area home ever since.

It wasn’t until college, however, that her passion for exploring the world truly took flight—quite literally—when she boarded her first plane into Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). That experience opened her eyes to the excitement and possibility of travel.

Her first international trip followed soon after on her honeymoon to Westmoreland, Jamaica. From that moment, she knew travel would always be a priority. She and her husband, Wade Metcalf, made a promise to explore at least one new international destination together each year—and they’ve faithfully kept that commitment.

Since then, Kelsey has traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean and Europe, visiting Jamaica (her most frequented island), Saint Lucia (multiple times), the Bahamas, Mexico, Antigua, Spain, and Portugal. Her deep love for the Caribbean and Europe, combined with her firsthand experience, allows her to thoughtfully curate meaningful, personalized travel experiences for her clients.

Kelsey specializes in designing thoughtfully curated journeys that go far beyond cookie-cutter itineraries. She focuses on helping you truly experience each destination—immersing yourself in its culture, cuisine, beauty, and unique character—so your trip feels personal, meaningful, and unforgettable.

When she isn’t traveling or designing unforgettable journeys for clients, you’ll find her researching and exploring luxurious boutique hotels and resorts, staying current on upscale cruise lines, discovering exceptional family and multi-generational properties, and dreaming up her next international adventure. Above all, she treasures spending meaningful time with her family.

Cassie Whitt

TRAVEL OPERATIONS

LUXURY TRAVEL ADVISOR

Cassie was born and raised in Flint, Michigan, where her love of travel began with family road trips to visit relatives throughout the eastern United States. Her passion for exploring new places started at a young age. At just 13 years old, Cassie won an all-expenses-paid trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, thanks to her high sales numbers while working for a local company. She continued her success and went on to earn trips to New Orleans, Florida, Las Vegas, and even a Caribbean cruise!

That early love of travel eventually led Cassie to become a travel advisor, where she has continued to build her knowledge and experience in both domestic and international travel. She has traveled throughout the Caribbean and beyond, with firsthand experiences in St. Lucia, Alaska, Jamaica, Honduras, Belize, Mexico, and the Bahamas, as well as Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line.

One of Cassie's favorite travel memories came during a work trip to Disney World. Captivated by the magic of “The Happiest Place on Earth,” she couldn't wait to share the experience with her family. She purchased last-minute tickets for her husband and two older children to join her, creating memories that she will always treasure.

Today, Cassie's greatest travel adventures often involve her family.

She believes travel is one of the greatest gifts a family can give one another, and she makes it a priority to take at least one trip each year with her children so they can experience something new, explore different places, and create memories together.

In addition to her proven record in sales, Cassie brings more than 15 years of customer service experience to her role as a travel advisor. Her attention to detail, genuine care for her clients, and dedication to creating meaningful travel experiences make her a wonderful addition to the MorningStar Luxury Travel team.

Everyone who has the privilege of talking with Cassie with immediately feel her energy and positivity!

Brian grew up on a dairy farm in Hershey, Pennsylvania, yet even with a demanding work schedule his parents carved out quality time for family trips. Brian’s first “big trip” was when he was 9 years old, and his family visited England. He was overwhelmed with the sights and sounds of Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and Warwick Castle. Plus, his first of many times eating authentic fish and chips. A few years later Brian’s family traveled for 3 weeks exploring America’s beautiful mid-west and National Parks. From little on up, Brian’s father has been a private pilot and his love of flying can be directly traced back to his father and their many trips together in the air. One of Brian’s biggest smiles is hopping on a plane and preparing for takeoff.

Brian has been alongside Morgan on this travel journey since 2008, and especially enjoys spending time over good food with their amazing clients, and helping lead trips with one of his favorites being South Africa.

Brian’s strengths are communication, customer service, and an eye for details. With a background in counseling, communication, and finance, clients not only know they have been heard and understood, but that they also have the knowledge, tools, and information necessary for their journey. With Brian handling much of the “behind the scenes” work, clients will have the prompt communication needed to ensure they can be confident in every stage of the planning process.
